Thank you very much. It was one of the most disconcerting events in my life. I was a junior in college.

Love this! I was just talking in my sermon yesterday how giving and receiving is a continuous chain from person to person. You illustrated it perfectly in terms of the chain of compassion, recognition, understanding, and empathy.

Thank you Sharon. It was probably the second most effective (on me) outreach events of my life. The first was the loss of one of my Youth For Christ, Campus Crusade students, another gorgeous and pleasant young lady, to suicide. That one really hurt.

Thank you very much. This event and several others in my life have left a certain regret in me, that though I may have contributed towards positive growth of of them, I have been left without knowing if these individuals benefited at all from their encounter with me. I served as a church youth director, a Youth For Christ staff member and Scout Master for many years I experienced the gamut of results from my efforts, from loss to suicide to a number of very wonderful people and everywhere in between. The suicide one was a watershed for me. Whew! That was a traumatic one.
